This event will share information on Groundwork London and the London Community Resource Network's Repurpose project, an EU LIFE+ programme funded initiative which has set up community re-use hubs in redundant spaces on five housing estates across London for the collection, refurbishment and redistribution of items. Through this, and a range of community engagement events, training, workshops, employment and volunteering opportunities that have run alongside this, local people have been equipped with the skills and resources to re-use more, reduce fly-tipping and improve their local environment.

The event will share key project activities and results, highlight resources available for housing providers and residents interested in developing similar initiatives, and showcase one of the hubs in action, The Loop @ Grahame Park.

Speakers will include members of the project team and partner housing providers, as well as guest speakers to be confirmed shortly. For more information on the project, see link below.
